Flooding protection

Flooding can be involved with high financial losses or, even worse, with damage to health and lives of citizens. As part of the urban water cycle this topic is investigated in the SMART&WISE project. We consider measures to retain heavy rain runoff and to provide riskless flow routes and even reuse the runoff.
